Ordering

All prices are listed in euros, including 21% VAT, but excluding shipping costs (the USD converter button can be used to see our prices in USD). We ship your order as soon as payment is received. If payment is not completed within 5 days, the order will be canceled. If a specific plush toy is out of stock, we recommend emailing [email protected]. We will gladly inform you when the toy becomes available again.

 
TAX-Free
Outside the EU we invoice without VAT. The 21% VAT will be deducted automatically when you select the shipping country in our check out.

Shipping

We ship your order as soon as payment is received. During checkout, you can also provide an alternative delivery address.

Shipping within the Netherlands

We primarily ship with DHL and occasionally with PostNL. Orders placed on business days before 12:00 PM are shipped the same day. Delivery time is usually one business day. Upon request, your package can also be delivered to a Parcelshop, which you can select as an option. Shipping costs are €4.99. Delays with courier services may occur, and we are not liable for these delays.

We are not responsible for incorrectly provided or unofficial delivery addresses. If a package is returned to us as a result, any additional costs will be charged to you.

If you choose delivery to a DHL Parcelshop, your package will automatically be sent to the nearest parcel shop or pick-up location based on the address provided. We are not responsible for packages not picked up in time. In such cases, the package will be returned to us, and additional costs will be charged to you. These costs will be deducted from the refunded amount. We do not ship to parcel lockers, as packages are often returned when the locker is full. For reshipment, shipping costs will be charged again.

Orders over €125 within the Netherlands qualify for free shipping.

We do our best to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If your order does not arrive, please contact us, and we will follow up with DHL or PostNL.

Knuffels à la Carte is not liable for delays with DHL or PostNL or for situations where delivery is temporarily not possible due to unforeseen circumstances.

Shipping outside the Netherlands

For orders outside the Netherlands, shipping costs are automatically calculated and displayed during checkout based on the weight and dimensions of the package.

We ship with DHL and PostNL, always with track & trace, so you can follow the status of your shipment.

Delivery times and local taxes

Delivery times within Europe typically range from 2 to 10 business days. For destinations outside Europe, delivery times may vary between 5 to 15 business days, depending on the destination. Please note that delivery times are not guaranteed, and packages may be held by customs, over which we have no control. Additionally, for orders outside Europe, local taxes or customs duties may apply. Knuffels à la Carte is not liable for these charges, and they are the buyer's responsibility.

We do our best to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If your order does not arrive, please contact us, and we will follow up with DHL or PostNL. Please note that delays may occur during busy periods with shipping companies and couriers. We are not responsible for these delays, which can sometimes take a long time. However, an investigation can be initiated, although shipping companies typically start such investigations only after a certain period.

Additionally, we are not responsible for incorrectly provided addresses or for not collecting a package if it is delivered to a pickup point when the recipient is not at home. In such cases, the return shipping costs or the costs of resending the package will be the responsibility of the customer.

Absence / Holiday Knuffels à la carte It can sometimes happen Knuffels à la carte is on holiday. If so, then this will be clearly stated on our homepage. During this period, orders are processed but shipping will take place afterwards.

Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may, within 14 days of receiving your purchase, return it by using the following procedure: 

1) Send an e-mail to [email protected], clearly state your name, address, order number, bank details.
2) The product has to be free of any marks that indicate that the product is used, or a defective product packaging (not the shipping box/ envelope) 
3) You then return your purchase within 3 days of notification to: Returns Knuffels à la carte. Frederik van Eedenweg 50, 1349 CN, the Netherlands.
4) Clearly state your name/address as the sender and keep your proof of shipment. Lost returns will not be refunded.
5) Once we have received the returned package in good condition, we will refund the amount within a few days to your account.
6) The return shipping cost is for your own account. Please note that returns that are insufficiently stamped, will not be processed.
7) In case of any marks on a product that indicate that the product is used, or a defective product packaging (not the shipping box/ envelope),the purchase is not refundable.

We will not engage further in such situations and will focus solely on resolving complaints in a constructive manner.

Safety of Our Products

Not all of our plush toys are suitable for babies. That’s why we include the recommended age for each product. While all plush toys are tested for safety, we strongly recommend never leaving a baby or toddler unattended with a plush toy due to potential choking hazards. Additionally, we advise always reading the safety instructions provided on the attached label or the product’s packaging.
